Admin magic – Freeing you up to have the conversations you need to have
The question, itself, made me chuckle. In fact, it really should be more along the lines of ‘How many ways can a VA help with lead generation?’
The list is relatively endless. This being the case, I’ll touch on just a few that most will relate to and that many VAs will be confident in.
Website development
Whilst there are still many traditional Virtual Assistants that may not be familiar with the tech side of online business, it is more and more common to find Virtual Assistants that have not only built their own websites on a variety of web development platforms, but are au fait with minor changes, adding posts, basic to moderate SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), and even full web builds for clients.
As such, keeping your website fresh and dynamic with new content and graphics, as well as ensuring the background SEO is in place, is a clear way for your VA to help keep you appearing on Google, Bing and the like, and scoring well on website ‘health checks’.
Networking
According to Michelle from Virtual Hand “you are a busy business owner, or just hate the limelight – especially online – a Virtual Assistant is likely to be very confident in presenting your business to a virtual room of fellow business owners.” In fact, it is likely that their ability to network and win over the attention of potential leads, is exactly how you found them in the first place!
As your chosen VA will already be familiar with what your business does, how you do it, and what makes you the best choice in the field, with a couple of run throughs on an ideal 60second pitch, you should feel more than confident leaving them to stand in for you while you busy yourself with actual work!
By building a rapport with peers in the right networking groups, you are bound to garner interest in what your business stands for and can add to the eager attendees, charmed by your smiling rep.
Copy and Social Media Content
There is no doubting that the world is now very clearly digitally-based where many businesses are concerned. Even so, for many, this is a terrifying place to be!
Most Virtual Assistants will be fairly, if not extremely aware of the systems and benefits of each of the available social media platforms. They will be able to identify where your ideal clients are likely to be spending their ‘online time’, and know how to schedule posts, videos, reels, etc. at just the right times to ensure your brand is at the forefront.
That being said, while some VAs are confident copywriters and content creators, it is always worthwhile to invest in professional branding services and copywriters to establish the ‘look’ and ‘feel’ of your business brand and messaging. This, in turn, makes life a good deal better for both you and your VA. They are able to keep content on brand, up to date with fresh content, and have time to engage with all the potential clients, wowed by your social presence.
Market Research
Not many of us business owners have days of time to discover the haunts and interests of our ideal clients.
Virtual Assistants, however, have a vast network of associates and business connections to draw on for similar networks to yours.
They will also be highly competent in using search engines, bypassing spam, and ensuring that the information fed back to you, is relevant, specific, and applicable to your business plan and vision.
In so doing, you will be able to target and engage with leads, confident that they fit the criteria and need of what you can offer.
Paid Ads
Following on from market research is the concept of paid advertising. Usually done through Facebook and YouTube, but fast becoming the ‘norm’ on many platforms and search engines, for many businesses, paid advertising is a necessary next step.
Yes, it is a niche area. However, there are increasingly high numbers of qualified and experienced Virtual Assistants that have niched in this area. Many are happy to monitor and maintain paid ad campaigns, within your budget and market. Others are even able to gather statistical information and develop paid ad campaigns from scratch.
Not only does this mean the launch of your latest course or product is seen by your ideal audience, but managed by competent, invested partners, fully aware of all you have at stake.
If you think there may be merit in exploring some of these lead generation techniques, feel free to get in touch. It’s important that you find just the right people to support you in your business development journey, and we are happy to help you make the right, informed decisions.
