A Business Advice Discussion With Sinclair Founder Andrew Brooks
CEO and founder of Sinclair Global, Andrew Brooks, knows the value of building a business and a brand, and of working with other people to facilitate that as much as possible. He enjoys advising other people about business matters, and helping entrepreneurs focus on what they can do in order to see more success in their own endeavors. Over time, he’s learned the importance of starting small, and building up from that point. By doing that, he can protect his investments and still grow his business.
When asked about the advice he wishes he would have had when he was younger, he suggests starting out small and building a brand and a name for yourself, before anything else. When you do that, says Brooks, you’re more prepared to go ahead and start up your business. You’ve already got a following, and that means you’ve got a target audience and customer base that are built-in and interested in the products or services you’ll be offering to them through your new company.
Mixing In Brands
Fortunately, Sinclair’s Andrew Brooks has been highly successful with the companies and brands he’s developed. That has led him to found Sinclair in 2020, as a response to the changes he saw in the business world from COVID. People were changing where they went and how they dressed because of it, and Brooks wanted to help them become more comfortable while still staying fashionable. But Sinclair offers more than just authentic streetwear. It also provides a lifestyle, which customers can focus on.
Importance Of Teamwork
Another important focus for business owners is teamwork. People need to work together to make things happen in business, but not everyone has a good team in place. Without a quality team, there’s more stress and confusion, and not everything gets done as easily. You also need a good team because it’s very important to be able to trade ideas and concepts with others in order to find the ones that will provide the most success. If you do that, says Brooks, it’s easier to have success as an entrepreneur.
Not everyone will want to start small and scale up, but scalability is very important. Understanding where to start with a company or idea, and how much effort and time to give that idea so it gets traction, are both valuable. Some ideas are much more easily scaled up, while others take considerably more experience, or must be approached more slowly. Considering those things carefully is the way to determine how to handle a particular idea, in order to reach the maximum level of value and effectiveness with it.’
Creativity is another area where Andrew Brooks, CEO of Sinclair, advises entrepreneurs to place a lot of their time. Every morning he works with his team on creative content and planning, so they’re all on the same page, and so ideas that are working for the company continue to advance. By making strategic decisions early in the morning, the rest of the day can be used to implement those decisions, meet with others, and handle any concerns that may arise.
